Dr. Aaron “Pete” Geter Jr. has spent more than three decades shaping students, athletes, educators, and communities through leadership, discipline, and service. His 37-year career in education has included roles as a classroom teacher, athletic director, football coach, head basketball coach, head track coach, principal, and superintendent.
A highly accomplished coach, Dr. Geter led teams to 10 state basketball championships, 13 Final Four appearances, 14 regional championships, and 20 consecutive state tournament appearances. He was also inducted into the Mercer University Athletic Hall of Fame, Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame, and Georgia Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
